I'm Hédi, working under the handle mrkinix — a 25-year-old Belgian software engineer at BC software, currently working from home. My focus sits at the intersection of minimalism, privacy, and open source: software that does one thing, does it fast, and doesn't phone home.

Full-stack development is my daily driver — Vue.js and Node.js end to end — with Rust reserved for anything performance-critical: custom sorting algorithms, exact solvers, small sharp tools. I also lean heavily into vibe coding and AI engineering, wiring up LLM APIs and configuring models to speed up how I build.

Coding since 2017, I studied Computer Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Outside of code, I also work across Photoshop and After Effects when a project needs a visual or motion touch.
